Stadium Events for Sale

Stadium Events Auction on Game Gavel.com

After the whole buzz on Yahoo! over Stadium Events a couple of months ago, it's understandable why the game is now known more than ever. Same goes for the Nintendo World Championship carts. Regrettably, auctions are sometimes misleading when high profile games like this are being sold. Read more »

CGE 2010 - Las Vegas, NV

Vegas baby! Uh huh! Kemoteo, Lunch Box and I had a great time in Las Vegas over the CGE weekend. Which also turned out to be the Roller Derby Con weekend and of course Def Con. The Applemonkey met up with the three of us at the Tropicana Hotel shortly after the show began. Great times were had by all. Geeking out over the quality of the 120 collectables available was one thing, actually getting to physically inspect something you may have only seen on Ebay once a year is priceless. Kemoteo got right to work and picked up a few things. Lunch Box wanted to gamble, so someone had to do the work. Read more »

Pinball Hall of Fame - Las Vegas, NV

It’s the middle of the desert. The weather is in the triple digit mark. Casinos and drinks all day and all night, yet Las Vegas has much more to offer. Noteworthy: Galactic Attack

In 1993, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter were the dominant arcade games in the US. But in Japan, a little lesser known game was being released. Enter, Rayforce. Named Gunlock in Europe, Rayforce was not your common Vertical Shooter. First of the Ray series, Rayforce was released with minimal promotion and yet did very well. Well enough that it was ported to the home consoles little than 2 years after its initial release in the arcades. Read more »

021 Questions with Brittany

Small Profile/Bio

Brittany Vincent, known primarily through her pen name Molotov Cupcake, is a proud gamer of 18 years and counting. Yes, even in her old age when society dictates she should be lounging in a lawn chair and carrying a Vera Bradley purse, she’ll still be pulling all-nighters, controller tightly in hand. When her bank account, eyes, and social life aren’t suffering from grueling hours of sweaty-palmed gaming and feverish scribbling, she may be found in the wild viewing anime or poring through manga, mingling in online forums, and working to hone her craft. Simple sleep or paralysis is not enough to catch her, though. No, a Master Ball may be in order. Until her dying breath she’ll be wielding a BFG made entirely of killer drive and ambition…to someday become an honest-to-User member of the video game press, while stamping out stereotypes and passing on the ridiculosity of console, exclusive, and gender wars. So, are you ready? Game on — no button mashing allowed.
